Another Councillor on the tap…
My megaphone has been borrowed for tomorrow. I bought it on eBay for a Tenner three years ago and they aren’t much use for most of the time so I’m not going to miss it. Hopefully he’ll replace the batteries…

How many batteries does it need? I am just trying to think of everyday uses for it… Perhaps it would come in handy at the post office here. I could shout, in Italian, all day: “IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS!”

I think it takes four C cells.
Also handy in the post office for the people in front chatting who haven’t noticed the six foot gap ahead of them.

Pity meagaphones can’t be made PC compatible - I suspect they’d help the traffic.
