I don’t think the gear will help if you fall down the lift shaft though!
In a few weeks, this will become an educational studio space with bleacher seating. They can’t get rid of the girders though, the building structure is too complicated.
Soon it will look like the first floor space.

Oh, how did you take that photo down the lift shaft?! Urrr, I go shivery just thinking of leaning over it.
Liz, the lift hasn’t been installed yet! Each doorway had a board across as a handrail to stop you falling down.
