When we were at Manchester Science Museum yesterday, we went to the extended Doctor Who exhibition. This was similar to the one we went to at the Cardiff Red Dragon Centre, but a bit more roomy and less crowded.
You know, putting on a show like this has to be a dream when you have a great product that draws the crowds and have the flare for putting on a good show. This is essentially a collection of props, costumes and display boards but it is dramatically lit and the familiarity of what you see carries it off.

This model was on a turntable. here is a video showing all four sides.

The stone angels (Blink) was the scariest episode I’ve seen since Jon Pertwee. I nearly jumped behind the sofa. The new series are really good.

It spooked David as well and he wanted his hand held as we went up to it. The site of a work-it-yourself Dalek distracted him though!

I see what you mean about the comparative ease of putting on an exhibition like this. I lost interest in Dr Who after the first few series - yes, I remember the very first programme!
