Some New Year resolutions

  1. Take my medical condition more seriously- eating/exercise
  2. Finish three books- Les Miserables, Atlas Shrugged, Lost Empires
  3. Do some much needed decorating in the house
  4. Learn how to put sealant round the bath properly
  5. Opt out of the NHS Spine IT disaster
  6. Pay close attention to the UK Libertarian Party

That’ll do for now. I commend 5 and 6 to the Shadeience.

Shades, Number 4 is a longstanding ambition of mine also, but I still haven’t got it licked (hence the worrying discoloured patch on the living room ceiling)

  2. Shades says:

Splund, our house is twelve years old and much of it is still Magnolia. I hate magnolia…

  3. The Remembering Site says:

Make a new year’s resolution to write your life story at The Remembering Site, a non-profit organization started in 2004 to make it easy to write, share and publish cherished memories and photos. http://www.TheRememberingSite.org

  4. Shades says:

The Remembering Site? Interesting idea, but we have the National ID Database to look forward to in Britain. After the Facebook debacle, I’m wary where I stick my personal data.

“You are Julia Middleton and I claim my Five Pounds!”

  5. Shades says:

Splund, I misread your comment. I also have a worrying discoloured ceiling patch for similar reasons; in the kitchen in my case.

  6. jmb says:

I’m hastily eating the rest of my Christmas cake and cookies so that I can follow your example of number 1. Good luck with them all.
