I see from my (very short) MySpace friends activity list that Denise Marsa (of lucky Stars fame) has been adding stuff to her music page. She spent some time in an 80s Band called The Flirts and was lead vocal on a big 1984 club hit called Helpless (You took my love).
I have to say that it passed me by back then, although in 1984 I was travelling abroad a lot and had a huge trade show stand to organise for all of the technical aspects of our products, some of which we had never seen before!
Interestingly, Denise is Ginger in this video, presumably because there was already a Blonde and a Brunette. (She is fair haired in all of her website photos. She claims to be aged 104 in her profile, which means that she must have been about eighty when she appeared with the Flirts and 74 when she sang with dean Friedman. She must have one of those portraits in her attic…

How about those skirts? I wish I had a portrait in my attic.

As my Dad would have said, they aren’t wearing skirts, just large belts…
