Parties need never run out of plonk again…

An interesting bit of free enterprise discovered from a flyer through the door today- booze on demand from a Mobile Offy. (An Off-License is a liquor store, the term being derived from “consumption off the premises”).

They sell booze, soft drinks, tabs (fags), snacks (various) and condoms. Their hours are 7pm to 5am every day except Sunday, when they don’t open until 11pm. (They promise soon to be 24 hours).

You can click through to visit the site. The terms make interesting reading- still a few quirks of the relaxed licensing laws. There was also an amusing typo in the flyer prices- they sell “bottled Larger” (corrected online).

I look forward to howls of protest from local Morley Councillor Robert Finnigan in the local press. After all, there is an election coming up…
