??Springtime for Hitler, in Mo…oorr…ley…??

It has been rather cold in the mornings here in Yorkshire, fog on Monday, frost yesterday and today.

On answering the door to the postman yesterday I noticed some striking red foliage on a garden tree opposite. This morning, when I opened the curtains, it was vividly lit by sunlight and I was impressed enough to get the camera.

Striking tree opposite

It is half term this week, so my recovery is tempered by keeping David amused, mainly by assisting him in two player video games. I feel twangs of repetitive strain injury!

(By the way, those question marks in the title started off as musical notes from the Windows character map..)

Very pretty and I feel homesick for such a morning!

  2. Shades says:

Welshcakes, I tactfully didn’t mention the discarded rubbish lying on the path, the occasional dog pooh or the crisp packets caught up in the ferns.

The Council do clean up but there is an awful lot of detritus blows in.
