I love this movie, particularly the director’s cut. (I normally hate subtitled films but after a while you forget it is in Italian). It is set in a small town in Sicily and the plot revolves around the Town’s only Cinema in the 40s and 50s.
This YouTube intersperses a few scenes with a live orchestral performance filmed in Berlin in 2005.
I’d go so far as to say this is my favourite film. Absolutely stunning.
