Video killed the radio star
Morley Community Radio are having a first bash at Internet Broadcasting this weekend. It is a bit of a dry run as we aren’t totally organised yet but as people will be able to tune in to the streaming, we have christened it a “wet run”.
The Greys will be on from 3-6 on Saturday, the first two hours it is the three of us with the family show. I’m on from 5-6 solo as the “slush puppy” playing the mellow stuff. Check us out over the weekend. You can even call in on +44(0)113 336 8162 for a request or dedication.
Streaming details here, details on the website, morleyradio.org (still somewhat under construction!)

Is there a place for web requests? Do you have everything we could possibly desire? I tried it and it did work this time as opposed to last time I tried.

You’re a star, Ian.

Web requests: Web form
As to content, the library is based on member collections and therefore dispersed/erratic! We can probably track down most stuff for the following month though to meet specific requests.
We have a big box of CDs in the studio, mainly from free cover discs off sunday papers…
