Another new camera
Little more than a year ago, I took my Kodak pocket camera out for a stroll and spotted something amusing on the facade of the Numptorium.
I now have another camera, a FujiFilm S8000. This looks more like an SLR (although it isn’t) and has the benefit of image stabilisation. This means that I can counteract any camera shake when zoomed in. Zooming in is something it does with gusto- it has an 18x optical zoom. Here are a few Morley shots from the weekend.
It doesn’t go as wide as the Kodak but collects more light so should give more detailed shots. It has its first theatre outing this week, hopefully I will have got the hang of it by then..

18x optical zoom. What’s not to like about that? I can’t get a new camera yet, I still don’t know how to use the current one properly!

Since when did I get to be anonymous here? Did you lock me out? Just kidding. Why is poor Karen manhandling the lawnmower there, too tired from building the fence?

We went to a Matinee yesterday and it was a bit cramped so I came out with an aching leg. When we got back my injury was hurting a bit and I wasn’t keen on manhandling the mower. As it was going to rain toay (and it did) Karen decided to have a go. I had to start it for her though most times after she emptied it, although she did manage on the last attempt.
