Morley on Sea
There was a bit of a seaside feel to Morley Town centre today- A Punch & Judy Show, a big inflatable slide and some Donkeys giving free* rides. There was even some Morley rock made recently that proved very popular and more has been ordered. In true seaside fashion, it even looked like it was going to rain!
Morley is a long way from the real seaside though, our closest bit of coastline being Withernsea, famous for having an inland lighthouse.
David has a certificate to show he has climbed the lighthouse (twice), as well as last week’s wind turbine.
(Free at the point of delivery as the Council paid for it but the Donkey Keeper was happy to accept £1 off at least one parent as Karen observed.)
