David has decided to give something up for Lent, without prompting from us. (They were talking about it in RE at his school and he thought he would participate).
For the next forty days and nights (well, 38 as it has already started) he will abstain from Jelly Babies.
He made a tactical mistake on shrove tuesday though, he was so busy finding materials for pancakes that he forgot to stock up on them for a blow-out
