I’ve upgraded the Blog to WordPress 3.0 and thought I’d turn on the 2010 theme.
I’m aware of Blogstipation round here at present. There are plenty of half formed posts in the ether, they just require opportunity and inclination.
In the meantime, here is a picture from Alton Towers that amused me…
I bet that’s the most disapointing ride in the whole place. You queue for hours, then get inside to discover it’s just Polly Toynbee sat at a desk writing her next article for the Guradian.
It wasn’t just Polly Toynbee- there was an animatronic of Gordo in a nappy riding a rocking horse muttering “no more boom & bust” & Teddy Tickle cowering in the corner muttering about Poles taking all of our jobs in Morley & Outwood.
The final scene was of the watermelon utopia from 2012, where we have reduced our carbon footprint by 30% by turning everything off outside of East London for the big Pancake day event. Meanwhile, happy smiling chavs sit around Yurts weaving their own Yoghurt…
